Most people felt that the results shown by AlcoHawk Elite Breathalyzer Alcohol Detector varied in the range + or – .01. That is, if you are truly .075 in terms of BAC, the result shown by this breathalyzer would vary in the range .065 and .085. They expressed concern in this matter and felt since the readings of this machine tend to vary. It would be better to invest money in another breathalyzer that gave a more accurate reading for zero tolerance situations. People were also of the opinion that the start up time of this machine was a bit too long.

The AlcoHAWK Elite Digital Alchohol Detector was not found to be a perfect breathalyzer. Many were of the opinion that it it was easy to fool the machine since it detected alcohol levels in the bloodstream only if you breathed deeply and continuously for 5 seconds into the device. If you didn’t breathe deep enough the machine could show lower readings. In general, people were of the opinion that the results the machine gave were doubtful.

Most people felt that this product only worked if you were on high doses of alcohol. For obvious reasons, it was not considered useful for light drinkers as it had failed to detect the presence of alcohol in their blood stream on several occasions. They thought there were other much cheaper breathalyzers in the market that would give better results for those who were light drinkers.
